  • Unique Designs for Your Curated Style and Daily Use

  • Handmade Pieces That Are as Beautiful as They Are Functional

Where do your people gather?

Perhaps it’s around the dining room table sharing a meal or Mom’s kitchen island while she cooks. It could be the living room playing board games or the den that houses your record collection and favorite chair. It’s not the room; it’s how you fill it. It’s the stories, laughter, and love.

Forests & Trees Woodworking is the workshop of North Carolina custom furniture maker Matt Lundy. We create custom furniture to help you create memories. No matter if it’s a coffee table, record console, desk or dining room table, we want to create alongside you to design the perfect piece for your family to enjoy now and pass on for generations to come.

What Does the Custom Build Process Look Like?

1. Share Your Vision

We start with a discussion. You’ll bring things like pictures, rough measurements, Pinterest boards, design preferences, and anything else that would give insight to what you want to accomplish.

2. Review Your Digital Design Plans

Matt provides a few digital design options. This allows you to see a mockup of what the finished piece could look like. You get the opportunity to say what you want to keep or change about the design.

3. Enjoy Your New Custom Furniture

After we have settled on the design and finish, the build begins. Build time for your piece will be determined by current client list and the design itself.
